There are plenty of fresh faces in the premier league. While new signings are a risk, they typically possess low price tags and some real value can be found sorting through the new additions to the FPL. Below are a few fresh faces the Fuse Soccer fantasy premier league scout thinks could be worth the cost.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh (Brighton, £7)
The leading scorer in the Eredivisie and Brighton’s record signing offers a real goal-scoring threat. With a registered 21 goals and 12 assists in 2017/18, FPL managers will have their eye on the Iranian international if he can adapt quickly and form a partnership with groß in the center of the park for the Seagulls.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos (Arsenal, £5.5)
The powerful Greek defender looks to tighten up the back line for the Gunners, who have a rough start to the season. Keep an eye on him and Leno in goal as the season progresses.
Josh Murphy (Cardiff City, £5.0)
Murphy's arrival from Norwich can boost goal potential for FPL managers. Only three other Championship players ousted the 115 shots on goal for Murphy last season, netting 11 times.
Lucas Digne (Everton, £5.0)
The ex-Barcelona full back could prove a valuable option to watch if he can solidify his place in Silva’s side over Leighton Banes. With favorable games in the first half of the season and bonus passing point potential, Digne is certainly an interesting player to watch.
Andre Schurrle (Fulham, £6.0)
The German flyer is back in the Premier League and could add plenty of cheap firepower if he can find his shooting boots quickly.
Naby Keita (Liverpool, £7.5)
The new reds midfielder is loaded with talent and could be a De Bruyne equivalent (without set pieces). If he adapts well to the PL and Liverpool play similar attacking football, he could be an undervalued force for the new look reds.
Fred (Manchester United, £6.0)
Manchester United new Brazilian midfielder could offer high assist and tackle value for the money. However, Fuse scouts think he will free up Pogba to provide more value.
Felipe Anderson (West Ham United, £7.0)
Only Neymar and Eden Hazard had more successful dribbles than the high-flying Brazilian winger. With a potent front line and some steel in the middle of the park, Anderson could be a fast prospect for FPL managers at the start of the season.
Rui Patricio (Wolverhampton Wanderers, £4.5)
Patricio kept a clean sheet in half of his matches in 2017/18 and more saves than his counterpart, Ruddy. Conceding only 24 goals, Patricio produce great results for the value.
FINAL TIPS
Don’t be afraid to take a risk. Get them while their cheap and don’t shy away from new signings. After all - not many people had Salah captaining their side at the beginning of last season, eh?
