Harry Kane (Tottenham, £12.5)
Mr. consistent himself. The £12.5 price tag doesn’t scare FPL managers off like it would have for Kane a few seasons back. Netting 217 points in the 2017/18 season and boasting a tally of 150+ points in each of the past four seasons, FPL owners can now take comfort that Harry Kane will deliver for FPL owners
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal, £11)
A shout for the golden boot this year, Aubameyang ended last season on fire with a ton of goals for the gunners. New manager Unai Emery looks to set the high press tactic with his side following the likes of Guardiola and Klopp, making this speedster and potent finisher a dangerous FPL assassin.
Roberto Firmino (Liverpool, £9.5)
He’s the best forward money can buy according to the stats last year. At £9.5 after a big 191 point season, Firmino can lead Liverpool’s line and line his stat sheet with goals and assists galore. Loads of talent around him and unselfish play make Firmino a popular FPL option up front.
BARGAIN BUY: Marko Arnautović (West Ham United, £7)
Netting 144 points in 2017/18, Arnautović is a constant goal c=scoring threat on a team that has added a ton of steel to their locker. A mere £7 price tag has the Hammers striker looking like a bargain, especially if creative players like new-signing Wilshire and supporting forward Chicharito can find form. Look for the Austrian to thrive up top for the hammers and score big for FPL managers.
ONE TO WATCH: Alexis Sanchez (Manchester United, £10.5)
He didn’t tear the roof off by any means in his debut season for the Red Devils and his hefty £10.5 price tag may scare some managers away. However, Sanchez has a genuine upside that cannot be overlooked. A strong preseason, lack of World Cup exhaustion, and set-piece bonuses could make Alexis a risk worth taking.
FINAL TIPS
Don’t be afraid to take a risk. Get them while their cheap and don’t shy away from new signings. After all - not many people had Salah captaining their side at the beginning of last season, eh?
