Fuse Soccer’s Fantasy Premier League Tips // Midfielders

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, £13)
It’s an obvious one -  over 50% of managers opting to shell out the £13 price tag for the Egyptian Golden boot winner from the 2017/18 season. After spending tons of money to fortify their lines, Klopp’s strong defense and high-press has the potential for Salah to shine even brighter this year in FPL.

Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City, £10)
The classy Belgian playmaker pulls the strings for Guardiola’s side, and with over 200 FPL points acquired last season he has proven his value for the price tag. De Bruyne has a plethora of options to choose from with a loaded strike force of Aguero, Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Mahrez which should see his assist tally increase for yet another year. With World Cup experience and a boosted front line, De Bruyne is set to shine for FPL owners.

Pascal Groß (Brighton, £7)
The German workhorse in the middle of the park lit up the stat sheet for the seagulls last season with 164 FPL points. With a strengthened Brighton side, a year’s worth of PL experience, and a mere £7 price tag, Groß is a quality addition to any FPL manager’s midfield options.

BARGAIN BUY:  Luka Milivojevic (Crystal Palace, £6.5)
Opening the FPL tapsin 2017 with 144 points, Milivojevic can provide a serious point boost for managers for a low price tag of £6.5. Bonus points and set pieces can provide even more of a boost for Palace and Milivojevic if he can keep his goal tally in the double digits.

ONE TO WATCH: Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City, £9)
Mahrez was a favorite to start fast for City with world cup fatigue looming over many Manchester CIty starters. That is, until his unfortunate pre-season ankle injury. WIth 195 FPL points last season and a stronger side behind him, if Mahrez can oust competition from Sane and Sterling his upside is enormous.

FINAL TIPS

Don’t be afraid to take a risk. Get them while their cheap and don’t shy away from new signings. After all - not many people had Salah captaining their side at the beginning of last season, eh?
